Bridgeway Connection has partnered with SimplyHome to create a "Supportive Home" environment by providing easy-to-use assistive technology and services. The SimplyHome Butler platform and Personal Emergency Response System (PERS Plus) give users extensive control over common potential concerns in the home. Caregivers are able to perform many basic tasks on-line such as monitoring and/or controlling a stove, microwave, lights, doors, windows and bathrooms. Additional technologies include medication monitoring, GPS tracking, and sensors to detect inactivity, room temperature fluctuations, smoke, flood, and falls. The on-line platform affords the user/caregiver with almost limitless possibilities for notifications via email, text or phone and provides a historical repository of information.
